Why "The Gospel of Travel"?

So yeah, my last post was 9 months ago, and my how things have changed, and continue to change (Specifics will be shared in my next post).  I guess now would be a good time to explain why I call this blog, “The Gospel of Travel”.  Being the existentialist that I am, I don’t really have a guide, or a book, or a gospel if you will, to direct me through life.  My beliefs are varied and ever changing, and very much influenced by my daily experiences.  I feel like the more I see and hear and do, the more I know.  It’s a continual process and I like that…this process of experiencing, learning, thinking.  The best way for me to do this is to travel; whether it’s taking a trip to the other side of Phoenix to try out a new coffee bar, like I’m doing now, or driving a few cities away, visit another state, or of course traveling abroad.  It’s all a learning experience to me and it’s what shapes me.  So some may have the Bible as their gospel, or the Torah, or the Koran…I have life and travel, my experience.  So there you have it, “The Gospel of Travel”.

As I continue sharing my thoughts and happenings, it may not all be about traveling in the traditional sense, but it’s about my journey in this life.  I’ll do my best to be interesting and witty so as to keep you entertained, but this is really for me; so I apologize in advance if at any time I’m not quite relating to you.  Thanks for reading anyway, and I hope you enjoy these occasional glimpses into my life.  More to come soon, I promise!
